FLOXY has been in progress for quite some time now - but we never dropped our goal to produce and finaly release it one day.
So I'm happy to announce that we are already close to a release date!
The prototype was made and the first production prototype came out the way we expected.

Besides on this side's FLOXY submissions we recieved many other designs by email - so we had a huge range to pick designs for the series 1.0 which will be a blindbox series.

series 1.0 includes these artists:

Some magazines already announced the upcoming series and we are excited to see the finished FLOXYS.

EPISODE 104

Within the coming up days/weeks we will start to clean up the site a little bit.
That means we will deactivate older designs and those designs that didn't catch a lot of interest from the community.

We hope this will help to bring up good designs and visitors don't have to go through all designs to vote.

Also we are currently working on a new section of PATCH TOGETHER to support professional artists and still give amateurs a chance to show their work.

We will come up with a new PRO-section where professional artists can upload their work/designs and it will appear immediately without aproving through us.
This ofcourse needs an aproval of the artist before he's able to do that.
There will be two ways to become a PT-PRO:
1. we pick the artist
2. artist can send portfolio to us and gets aproved by us

To be in the PRO section we expect:
- professional work
- drawing/illustration skills (2D or 3D)
- experience in design, illustration etc.
- minimum age of 18 (exceptions may be possible)

Another thing we'll work on is for the submissions.
The overall level of quality has to raise on our site - we tried to keep it simple for an aproval to give unknown artists a chance - but it's not working out since collectors are not that interested in poor quality designs or designs of artists with low experience in designing a toy (figure/character etc.).

We have good artists here in the community but they have to suffer that their designs go under all average or unprofessional designs.

So in the future it will be more difficult to get accepted!

However we try to find a way to move the rejected designs (that still look promising) to a gallery section. So the community can still comment on the design - the artist can improve the design and maybe try to submit it again after a while.

Until this feature will be on we suggest to submit the design to the gallery or forum after a rejection.

So for upcoming submissions we recommend to show different angles, nice presentation, good drawingskills and think about if your design could stand out of the toys/figures that are on the market already.
