I just wanted to say that we think Patch Together is an awesome place for artisans like ourselves to have the chance to maybe see our 2D creation breathe life in the world as a 3D toy or sculpt 
My name is Frankie B Washington and I'm the artist /co-creator of a new IP/web series called Robot God Akamatsu. This concept came to life back in May 2009 with my creative partner/soul brotha James Biggie who shared a passionate love for giant mechs and kaijus like myself.
We both love Transformers and really felt that the newer generation of the nineties til now might not be aware of human piloted mechs that captivated the kids of the 70's & 80's.
These mechs were Japans response to Americas on superheroes and were aptly named Super Robots. The father of this genre in my opinion is Go Nagai who created Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Gaiking, DevilMan, Cutey Honey, Grendizer and a score of other cool stuff. He clearly wasn't alone in the super robot creator circle but a very significant player.
Robot God Akamatsu is a valentine to the Super Robot genre. A chance for to american fans to show our respect for the genre that helped shape our childhoods. In a nutshell, Giant robots and monsters attack Boston, and Robot God Akamatsu (RGA, for short) is the city’s only form of defense!
RGA is also about the relationship between a father and his estranged son, about the abuse of power and how far some are willing to go to see their goals met. It’s a little bit Voltron, a little bit Force Five, and a mighty dollop of Shogun Warriors.We feel that our designs would be a fun challenge for the amazing artisans of Patch Together-
