A stressful lifestyle of constantly being on set has finally gotten to Eric and has now left him with an insatiable appetite for tomatoes. It goes to show that appearances aren't always everything. An idea for a possible figurine design with non-movable limbs. Markers & inks on 220gm A3 paper.
Thanks for all the comments lovely patch-people
@Sketchkat: that's just a piece of detail for the drawing, it's not a part of the figurine :)
@Bluebarker: Errr, it IS supposed to be humourous. That's the whole idea behind it. And most of the figurines I collect aren't movable... that has not impacted their attractiveness. This is meant to be a figurine for display purposes... and as it will most likely be cast in resin (one can only hope for vinyl!), probably better off that way as resin is fragile and snaps easily. The sign and speech bubble are not part of the figurine, they are there to make the drawing look more complete. And a wolf with blood... that is so terribly boring!!
heheh. Cute. Would like it if the tomatoe juice was super shiny.
Love the double-take effect it has! XD
haha! nice!
And here I was from the thumbnail image, expecting another gory werewolf!
I almost wish the tomatoes spilled out behind him instead of in front, so when you saw it as a toy, you wouldn't get the "joke" until you looked at the back of him :)
I actually really love this too. I think it is a very clever take on wolves, and is a unique design. This would be an adorable figure! I would as well like to see some turnarounds so we can see what the tail is like etc.
Hah! Well that certainly is entertaining! Nice design, man! Would love to see some turnarounds. :3
Nice one Ben!
Oh yes ! A vegetarian werewolf :p I like very much the idea, and also your message : "appearances aren't always everything". Wolves need us to understand that... Great design.
