About My Design

"What do you mean, what's the answer? How should I know? Why do you think I'm asking?" said the sphinx a tad annoyed to the puzzled hero. This is Oedipus's Sphinx, the one that was asking everyone: "What walks on four feet in the morning, two in the afternoon and three at night?" She really wanted to know. This design is meant to be a figurine which could sit on your desk, give you sideglances and ask existential questions. And if you fail to give the right answer, it would eat you up! Or at least gnaw your pencils...

I love the flow of this design, as well as the twist on an old concept. I would love to have one of these on my desk to muddle through my calculus with me.

I really *really* really like this! Maybe it's my general love of sphinx characters, but I think your color choices are doing it. The front view gives an 'African' artist style to me (again, I think it's the colors) but the other poses add a neat depth, especially in the neck. Sort of Picasso-ish. Which is good, I think.

lyliko its a sphinx. if you look at the sphix she has 2 breasts, a cat body a human head and sometimes wings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphinx

 

I LOVE this. I love the crazy proportions and style. the colors are wonderful and I like that the breasts are subtle and not huge and hanging. tasteful.

Great idea, and for selfish reasons...because I own a Sphynx kitten(granted, she isn't this cute) and it be a shame not to have one for her to look confused at.

I love the flow and colors of this. I could definitely see myself buying this toy if the scult looked right and the paint job was good. I really like the funky style! Hope you post some more work!
