Styx is an artificial life form, essentially a self contained ecosystem of nanomachines suspended within a silicon compound. In typical fare, she was an experiment gone wrong, brought to life before properly constrained by her creators and allowed a chance to form self awareness. Her ascension to consciousness produced a creature that strives only for the betterment of self and knowledge. Initially produced for her shape shifting qualities as an ideal tool of espionage and infiltration, blending into society after escape was easy. With her calculating machine intellect, she discovered quickly that the best way to learn is to dissemble that which is unknown. To that end, what was once an amorphous, genderless blob of goo now walks among us in female disguise. Interesting or knowledgeable targets rarely discover the true nature of the predator after them until it’s far too late, as shown by the gryphon in this piece that she’s recently “learned†from.

Very cool! But you need some turnarounds.

Fumei commented 4th Nov 2009
Intriguing design -- equal parts cute, graceful, morbid and terrifying. The only real detractor is, as others have mentioned, the lack of a turnaround, but the figure itself looks solid.

Very nice artwork, but if you want it to be created into a toy, you need to provide a turn around since these are toys not prints.

Original character, should make an awesome figure.

Very creative, though would look better with more colour tones.

A wonderfully unique character design. The fact that she's as graceful (using the tail as the stand is brilliant) as she is a monster is just excellent. This is totally the type of thing I want on my desk...deliciously cruel, yet happy!

Interesting concept, but the design isn't doing it for me. Seems kinda like vore porn, which is okay if you're into it, but not the kind of figure I'd buy.

A very interesting concept and design. I like all of the thought put into it, however, I think it would look better with more color.

Wow! That's a nice design. To buy it though, I'd like to see a bit more color on her. The skull and and bones contrast pretty sharp next to her and make her look unfinished.

LOVE how the tail also forms a base! Such a cool pose! The drips are also a nice touch- I can see she came from a "blob of goo" =3

Styx was epic on screen, she'll be even more epic in 3D hehe :P

Boo on special characters. Go Styx go!
wreckerwolf1 commented 13th Oct 2009
Hey, looks like she's ready! Hope this works out!
Pisces-Kelp commented 13th Oct 2009
She looks like such a fun desk guardian.

Seems that PT does not like the special characters in the description so my apologies on that, not aware of any way to change it at the moment.

Nice I think this will be a very unique item

Interesting back story, I wonder how a more in-depth storyline will flow around such a main character :)
