This would be cool but something about it seems to be a tad bit bland. Maybe it's teh rendering? I pesonally find hand drawn images to have more spark and life.

Cute. Not exactly sure what would attract me to having a little oil can on my desk ... and he's also kind of creepy ... but intriguing none-the-less.
