About My Design

"Punky Bruiser" and "Hello Nurse" are two tough chicks that showcase the spirit of roller derby, fun, fierce, and feministic. With an emphasis on unity and sisterhood, these two women can kick the crap out of each other with no hard feelings and get a drink afterwards. But as a warning, you may want to watch out for that deadly syringe "Hello Nurse" has in her hand. She's been known to use it if crossed.

Quite a nice design. I love the echoing motif of stripes in the clothing and the hair. I also am happy to see that they are more full figured in true roller derby fashion. Lovely.

I never got to see the A&E show, but heard it was good. I just came up with the names on my own, the later did a search and saw that both of those names are used a bit in several teams, heh. ;)

I hit enter before I finished my comment, apparently. Argh. Heh, I meant to say I know of Punky from that A&E show but have no clue if Hello Nurse exists. Either way, cute! There's never a wrong reason for derby girls. :)
