This should've been added to the finished Pinocchi page, not posted twice. That's what PT rules say.

could use more work, doesn't look very finished

Thanks for adding the revised version!  I like your choice of subdued hues with the colors you chose, like the grayish blue of the shorts and the black for the tie.  What I'm trying to say is that a lot of people make the mistake of mixing the brightest reds and greens when coloring their line art, and it looks like you put thought into your color palette and/or have a lot of experience in illustration.  I wish you best of luck!

Dreamkeeper: Thanks. I'm glad you like my art

I agree with most comments. I have added a colored version and I adjusted the strings to hang down. They work as a piece of art but not as a toy. Let me know what you guys think.

Colored study

Holy Cow! Your artwork is awesome, I saw the detail in the thumbnail, but now I'm really blown away by your talent. I'm not sure how some of the details would work out in your design, specifically the strings, but with a little color, you're on the right path!

The style is interesting, but as said - it could benefit from color. Unless the design was meant to be in black and white in final production. The view given at the moment is hard to plot out as a toy since there are strings shooting off the page - which would be fine for a staged view, but for a toy design it's probably helpful to also include panels that show the whole toy.

This seems stuck somewhere between creepy and cute. I think if you really want to push the creepy, you might have to make that wood a little less "new"

This is creepy but I like it. Does need color unless you are doing a diy version.

I agree that adding a colour image would be really great but also a sketch to show more of how the final figure will look. Will it have the strings hanging from something?

it would benefit from a colored image, unless you're intending for the final product to be colorless as well.
