About My Design

Pearasite is a functional food-themed toy that is able to fire a magnetic plunger from his "mouth" and reel in the unsuspecting cherry. The jaw can then be snapped shut to the original position to be stored on a stand for display. Originally designed and entered in a contest on Satellitesoda.com

Is the similarity to the Biting Pear of Salamanca intentional?

Cute. Love the play on words. A little Specularity on the model instead of all just ambient occlusion would go a long way to sell the 3d mockup IMO.

I love the play on words and think the design is overall unique. The plunger idea in the mouth seems odd, but fun at the same time. Nice job.
