Joyce was raised and homeschooled in smalltown Indiana by her parents and her three older brothers. The world would call her naive or childish or smallminded, but Joyce will surprise everyone with her singleminded cheerfulness, optimism, and (most importantly) perseverance. She'll need these qualities more than ever now that she's at a large university, spending all of her days with people outside her family and friends for the first time! It could be a scary time of radical adjustment for Joyce, but she's too determined to find the good in people to let things get to her.

Joyce is intended to be a statue done in 6" scale. She's 5'4", so that'd make her statue about 13.5 centimeters tall. That's the plan, anyway!
