@Scribbler: I believe the reason the price raised is because they found out Chumbuddy had a tendency to "deflate" during shipping. I'm assuming the extra $50 is for the extra stuffing they put in him to make sure he was still nice and fluffy by the time he reached you :)

I know it sucks that the price raised but I'm glad to see PT works hard to make the best toys they can.

You can always buy just the skin and stuff him yourself :D

can't believe this got MORE expensive. was saving up to buy this as a gift at what i jotted down as pricemarked at $200.

great idea and design. but this would need to be a superb finished product to fit a $250(+s&h) bill. kudos to the artist, but i'm never going to make a purchase at patchtogether.com.

Shutterflicker--It actually is available to ship to other parts of the world now (for an undoubtedly hefty sum D: ) BUT, I have suggested that very idea to the PT staff to reduce costs--maybe it will be available in the future.

Haha, yes, I wouldn't intend this toy for kids under like....8 years old. Someone smart enough to know how to get out of there! Haha.

It might be cool if a zipper could be put on its stomach to make getting in/out easier. It's a bit of a challenge to squeeze in there myself :'C Probably not for kids though.
