Not a fan of this. I think it could be improved if it were drawn better.

Looks like a company mascot. That is to say it looks like a commercial character, not saying you've copied anyone. I've not seen any mascot like that, but it looks like it should be one.

its actually a really good concept and design, i love the grease monkey :3 but i would suggest using a digital program to go over the design to make it solid, or send it to someone who can, but otherwise Good job :D
