Lol, love the face. it's like taking a candid picture of someone and just happened to get a bad shot and it just too awesome to give up! ^_^ ah good times. It would be awesome to see him in a more squiggly pose. but I do like him as he is

I don't think it looks enough like the Hydra to matter. What is more of an issue is the posing. It would be cool to have this posed in a way that seems more solidly grounded. Maybe coiled like a snake or something. Nice color scheme! The face has a lot of energy.

I agree with the others on the hydra from hercules. It is fine if that was a staarting point but you really need to make it your own now.

I agree, it's like a Dratini from pokemon mixed with a hydra from Hercules. It needs something that really makes it totally unique.

I have seen this cartoon approx. 12 years ago.

When i started to draw this character i just wanted to create a sea monster in funny style. After it has done i realized that it is a bit similar to the hydra character in hercules but i didnt draw it in intent similar to hydra, it is only a lucky coincidence. At the same time i think there are more differnece between the two character than similarity.

TBH it reminds me of the Hydra from Disneys Hercules :S
