It's a sleeping bag! It's a stuffed toy! IT'S A SHARK! In an effort to make sharks (a very misunderstood animal that also happens to be one of my favorites) more cuddly, I designed and produced a prototype for the ChumBuddy. This 7 foot monster plush was 100% hand sewn (sewing machines hate me) from fleece and felt & contains about 30 lbs of poly-fill. After getting a lot of attention from various people from it I was wondering if maybe there was a more effective way to get it produced rather than take weeks out of my life trying to make more myself (and suffering from sore fingertips) anytime someone actually wanted to buy one. Could Patch Together help me solve this problem!? I have no idea. Maybe you can help decide. ;O

this is definitely one of the best things on the internet. not something i would buy for myself, but a gift that would be amazing to give/receive.. if it ever has a reasonable price drop. 200 is understandable, but.. well, not everyone who adores this can throw around that kind of cash.

Oh my gosh, I would love to have one of these in my room! I adore it! Its also really cute that its hollow. Definitely unique.

Shutterflicker--It actually is available to ship to other parts of the world now (for an undoubtedly hefty sum D: ) BUT, I have suggested that very idea to the PT staff to reduce costs--maybe it will be available in the future.

Man, I used to have nightmares after seeing Jaws in the front row when I was nine years old, and I would have loved my mother to walk home with one of these. I don't care how traumatized I was at the time, I would have laughed my ass off. Reverse psychology at it's best -- how cool would that have been? I could have gotten rid of my screaming nightmares of being eaten by a shark by going to sleep each night in the stomach of one.

IIt's just awesome. My 9 years old son just loves sharks, we live in Brazil and there's nothing similar to it. It' funny, useful and a good decoration piece. Great IDEIA !

This is one of the most creative and unique things I've seen in a long time. you absolutely deserve to get this made! If I had a use for a sleeping bag, and knew my bf wouldnt yell at me for taking up more space with something so big, i would totally buy one haha. But at least I will give it my vote!

This is exceptionally epic, and congrats on making it so quickly to the preorder stage!!!! If I wasn't savin' up money, I'd get one. I hope they don't tack on a hefty shipping charge later on to the already high price. But this design is amazing. Love it!

Oh my God! This is genius!! I can imagine it would cost a lot of money to make and for people to buy. Is there breathing room at the end? Maybe a zippered opening at the tail end? However this ends up, its a great idea and I would totally buy one.

Fantasti. I love the idea, the reasoning behind it, and it's actually got a great base. It really does look like a giant shark, and that's damn good for a plush "toy"! More like a plush collector's item!

Haha, yes, I wouldn't intend this toy for kids under like....8 years old. Someone smart enough to know how to get out of there! Haha.

It might be cool if a zipper could be put on its stomach to make getting in/out easier. It's a bit of a challenge to squeeze in there myself :'C Probably not for kids though.
